Restricted supply to fuel stations

A large number of filling stations had run out of fuel yesterday, the CPC said, adding that there are problems in importing adequate quantities of fuel and thus, they had restricted supply to fuel stations.

The CPC has slashed its supplies by 50%.

A CPC official said that there would be no fuel in the country if it tries to meet the demand. He added that they were unable to supply fuel to the CEB, too, and that would affect at least seven power plants.
