The third research symposium of CINEC Campus “transforming innovation for sustainable development” was held at the Klaus E. Oldendorff auditorium of CINEC Campus, Malabe recently with Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Professor Sampath Amaratunge as the chief guest. The major objective of the international symposium is to provide a knowledge-based dialogue to deliver the most required policy measures and strategic management applications to strengthen sustainable development in Sri Lanka, under the main theme on “transforming innovation for sustainable development”. The theme carries the tag line “nemo reside” (in Latin for “no one left behind”). It was a critical part of Roman legion morale. Leave no one behind (LNOB) is the central, transformative promise of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development and its sustainable development goals (SDGs).
