Religious ceremony to mark British Minister Ranil Jayawardhana’s birthday

Ranil Jayawardhana, the Member of Parliament for North East Hampshire and the Minister for International Trade in United Kingdom, comes from a Sri Lankan generation, Jayawardhana family – Madurawala.

The Madurawala Ampitigala ECO Tourism Development Foundation, with the help of the Committee of devotees and the Kulangana Society of the Sri Sumangalaramaya Temple, has organized a ceremony to celebrate his next birthday by conducting a special Bodhi Pooja followed by a Pirith Changing ceremony of the Triple Gem on September 2, 2020 at 3.00 pm at the temple premises.

Local and foreign invitees will participate under the patronage of Venerable Hathiyalwela Chandananda Thero, the Chief Incumbent of the temple.
