Quarantine Curfew extended until September 21

The Quarantine Curfew currently in effect has been further extended until 04:00 a.m. on September 21, Kingsly Rathnayaka, spokesperson for the President said on Friday.

Meanwhile, Minister of Health, Keheliya Rambukwella says that authorities are confident that Sri Lanka should be able to reopen fully at an appropriate time soon as COVID-19 case numbers show a downward trend.

He also urged the public to adhere to stay- -home-orders and health protocols in the coming week as well.
