Quack arrested by Jaffna police for swindling Lankans living overseas

Jaffna police have arrested a 29-year-old person, masquerading as a doctor and allegedly cheating people out of millions of rupees.

The Jaffna police took him into custody at Chunnakam on Monday (03) following several complaints against him.

Several Tamils living overseas have complained that the suspect obtained money amounting to over Rs 100 mn promising sound investments in the Jaffna peninsula.
