Public assistance sought to locate Coats of Arms missing from the Presidential Palace

The President’s Secretary, has requested for the return of any Coats of Arms with archaeological or artistic value that belonged to Sri Lanka’s former governors and presidents which went missing when the Colombo Fort Presidential Palace was occupied by protesters from July 9th to July 14th, 2022

The items sought should be  handed over to the Presidential Secretariat by 31st July 2023. The unlawful possession of state property is a punishable offense.
