Protest opposite Fort Railway Station against IMF-Govt. deal

A group of people calling itself the ‘Jana Aragala Viyaparaya’ (People’s Struggle Movement) protested opposite the Fort Railway Station yesterday (31) against the agreement between Sri Lanka and the IMF.

The protesters accused the government and the IMF of pursuing an agenda at the expense of the hapless public struggling to make ends meet.
