Protest near Dhammika Perera’s house
A group of persons yesterday protested near the Colombo residence of newly-appointed SLPP MP Dhammika Perera. They shouted slogans against President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Perera.
Protesters also displayed banners against the alliance between President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. They said the country didn’t need a casino owner in Parliament.
The protest took place against the backdrop of those spearheading the Galle Face protest campaign launching a scathing attack on the businessman, one-time head of the Board of Investment (BoI).
