Proposed Fisheries Act aims to safeguard the rights of the fishing community and ensure their protection – Fisheries Minister

Addressing a press briefing titled ‘Collective Path to a Stable Country,’ held today (20) at the Presidential Media Center (PMC),  Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda said that the proposed Fisheries Act aims to safeguard the rights of the fishing community and  ensure their protection.

The Minister reiterated the invitation for private sector investments to bolster the fishing industry’s advancement.
