Prof. Samadhi Rajapaksa to head College of Palliative Medicine in 2022/23

Chairman of the National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol (NATA), Professor Samadhi Rajapaksa has been inducted as the President of the College of Palliative Medicine of Sri Lanka for the period 2022-2023
The College of Palliative Medicine was founded by Prof. Rajapaksa on 09 October 2021 to promote evidence-based palliative medicine and palliative care by bringing together a group of multi-disciplinary professionals under one umbrella and improve the quality of life of palliative patients in the country. Dr. Lakshmi Somathunga was the founding President.
