Prez richer than the Republic!

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has said that he was richer than Sri Lanka. The President said that he realised he was in a better position than the country when he assumed duties as the Finance Minister amidst the ongoing crisis. The UNP leader said so addressing the Organisation of Professionals’ Associations (OPA) at the Cinnamon Lakeside, on Tuesday (16).

The President’s Media Division quoted President Wickremesinghe as having said that he had USD 1,000 at his home.

Declaring that the situation had improved somewhat, the President said that the government was yet to overcome the crisis.
