Kumar de Silva: Got his second jab

Most people, if not all, who got the second jab of the Covid-19 vaccine, are relieved that the wait is over.

Veteran singer Rajiv Sebastian says he spent two hours in the queue and got the second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine, and had this to say:

“Precaution is better than cure.

“Today (June 14) I have been in line for two hours and got the second dose of the Covid vaccine.

“Get the Covid vaccine for the benefit of yourself and others in the country.”

Kumar de Silva, too, announced that he got his second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine.

However, quite a few of the known names in the showbiz scene are eagerly awaiting the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, and they include Mignonne Fernando (of Jetliners fame), Sohan Weerasinghe, and also Benjy Ranabahu.

They are all anxious, wondering how long the wait is going to be!
