President’s decision to remove Keheliya vindicates Opposition’s no-confidence motion – Udaya 

President Ranil Wickremesinghe had decided that Keheliya Rambukwella was not competent to hold the post of Health Minister, and thereby justified the no-confidence motion the Opposition moved against Rambukwella, Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) leader Udaya Gammanpila told the media in Colombo.

Gammanpila said that most government MPs had defended Rambukwella when the Opposition sough to oust him as the Health Minister.

“Now, the President has admitted that Rambukwella is not capable of functioning as the Health Minister” Gammanpila said. (RK)
