President’s College Mahara meet Sri Parakrama NS Kobeigane

Under 13 Division III Cricket Final

President’s College Mahara will meet Sri Parakrama National School Kobeigane in the final of the Under 13 Division III cricket tournament at Ananda Sastralaya Ground Kotte today.

President’s will enter the fray under the captaincy of Mihilsara Oshan and Sri Parakrama National School are led by Adeesha Lakshan.

The boys from Kobeigane beat Methodist College Batticaloa, St. Andrew’s College Puttalam and Badulla Central College during the final stage, while President’s eliminated St. Mary’s College, Matugama, Sri Rahula College Katugastota and Ananda College Colombo ‘C’ to make the final.

The Division III tournament was taken part by over 500 teams. They competed in 111 groups during the league stage. From the 111 groups 222 teams advanced to the second round where they competed in a knockout tournament to decide the pre-quarter-finalists.
