President must prevent auction of police dogs
The pedigree dogs of the Police Kennels, at 10 years of age, with all their emerging age-related and genetic disabilities, if any, are given away to the highest bidder at an auction.
Twenty-five such animals were sold on 15 August 2020.
These are one-master work dogs and their entire world is turned up-side-down.
They need to be cared for life by the Police.
Some people who buy them will use them for breeding, regardless of their age. None of the buyers is screened for anything else other than their money power!
These dogs need to get a pension.
Please allocate funds for their care within the Police Kennels, establishing a special programme for their care for life.
Also, if such a care system is set up, Animal Lovers will gladly sponsor these dogs to be cared for by the Police, bearing their costs of maintenance for the rest of their lives.
These canine officers deserve that, don’t they?
Also, it might be a good idea to stop using police dogs and horses for mounted police, both decrepit practices of Colonizers!
These practices are redundant now. There are so many efficient ways to catch various culprits and direct traffic.
