President meets Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina in New York

President Ranil Wickremesinghe held a fruitful meeting with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, in New York on Tuesday (19). The meeting centered on various aspects of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two South Asian nations.

President Wickremesinghe expressed his desire to strengthen the ties between the two countries and his intention of visiting Bangladesh in November or December.
