Prema Cooray passes away

Former Aitken Spence PLC Chairman Prema Cooray has passed away.

Cooray was the driving force behind Aitken Spence PLC in developing resorts both in Sri Lanka and overseas.

He was a key player in development of sustainable tourism in Sri Lanka

Cooray was a certified management accountant and holds an MBA from Sri Jayewardenepura University.

His remains will lie at the Jayaratne ‘Respect’ funeral parlour from 10.am, Saturday 27 April and the funeral will take place at the Mount Lavinia cemetery at 4.00 pm on Monday April 29 at 4.00 pm. (HG)
