Police still looking for 150 people over attacks on houses of politicians on May 09

The police are still looking for another 150 people in connection with arson attacks on the residences of politicians on 09 May.Police said that they had identified the suspects and several police teams had been deployed to arrest them.Meanwhile, 20 Police OICs, who were transferred for failing to protect the properties of politicians on 09 May have decided to file Fundamental Rights cases.

Former OIC of Kollupitiya Police, Duncan Gunathilake is to file an FR petition today (07)) while the others will file cases on Monday.Thirty seven OICs were transferred following the 09 May violence.Police said that a number of independent OICs had been transferred following the attacks.
