Police seize large haul of drugs

Police during a night patrol, on Saturday, took into custody a large quantity of drugs including cocaine, hash and Kush cannabis with a street value of over Rs. 230 million near the State Engineering Corporation, in Peliyagoda. Three suspects were arrested with one kilo of cocaine, 24.5 kilos of hash, and eight kilos of Kush cannabis.

Police also took into custody an SUV and a three-wheeler used for transporting the drug consignment.The suspects are aged 33, 34, and 4 -years old and residents of Wattala and Nattandiya.
