PNB and Navy intercept vessel carrying narcotics off Southern Coast

In a joint operation officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) and  Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) have  detected a large quantity of narcotics on board a multi day fishing craft which they intercepted off the southern coast of Sri Lanka  on Wednesday (14).

Sources say that a second multi day vessel that was accompanying the vessel carrying the narcotics has also been taken into custody. (File picture)
