Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday reiterated that he would not step down from the post of PM.

Rajapaksa told The Island that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa had never informed him that a new PM would be appointed, but he would abide by the President’s decision.

The Prime Minister said when the Parliament he would make a special statement in Parliament today.
