Rajiv Sebastian: At the Gabbar Bistro and Bar, in Singapore

Rajiv Sebastian has been to Singapore many times, on work-related matters, but his first, as a performer, turned out to be exciting, and memorable, as well, and it all happened last month.

While in Singapore, Rajiv felt the vibes when Sri Lanka won the Asian Netball Championship, beating Singapore, and then that particular evening we beat Pakistan to win the Asia Cup T20 finals.

Yes, it all happened on 11th September, 2022 – the day Rajiv went into action at the Gabbar Bistro and Bar, in Singapore.

According to Rajiv, it was an action-packed night, with the large crowd present having a good time, singing along with the legendary singer, as well, and then making use of the dance floor, during the final session.

Rajiv was backed by the band 404, made up of Sri Lankans, based in Singapore.

‘70s Night with Rajiv’ commenced at 6.30 pm and ended at 10 pm to enable the guests to take in the Asia Cup T20 finals.

It was an evening they had plenty to cheer about!

Rajiv spent five days, in the ‘Lion City’ and also visited Universal Studio, in Singapore.

Back home, he had quite a lot of work, lined up for him – family nights, sing-along events, etc. – and continues to be busy, as a performer.

Rajiv worked on the Concert DVD, ‘Tribute To The Legendary Clarence Wijewardena,’ which contains 50 songs, and is now available.
