‘Perfect’ sends crowd into frenzy …and Sohan experienced it all
After his enormously successful tour of Canada and the States, with Sarith-Surith & The News, Sohan decided to take things easy and opted to spend a short vacation, with his sisters and brother, in Canada.
And…guess what! Ed Sheeran’s concert was taking place at the Roger’s Centre, in Toronto, and Sohan and his family members decided to check out the Ed Sheeran scene.
According to Sohan, it was simply fantastic, with a crowd of 55,000 people filling up the stadium.
Sohan went on to say that the whole setup was very impressive, and the sound and lighting was tremendous.
“Unfortunately, I was not familiar with all his songs but the crowd just lapped it up.

“And, they went into raptures when he did his monster hit ‘Perfect’ in the second half of the show. Some even fainted, I believe.”
Sohan is certainly on a role, especially after he did it with Sarith-Surith & The News – seven cities, in the USA, in 11 days.
He also made a surprise guest appearance at ‘Starlight Night’, featuring JPal (Janaka Palapathwala) on 16th June, in Toronto, Canada.
Sohanwas invited, on stage, to do one song but the crowd wanted more of this irresistible entertainer and he ended up doing almost one session.
“Many more foreign inquiries are coming my way after our very successful US and Canada tour”.
Sohan’s next assignment is in London, on 16th July, where he takes the judge’s seat for the first live auditions of Lankans Voice Season 02.
There is also a surprise in store for those who turn up for a charity dance, in London, on 15th July. And that is being kept a secret!
In September, Sohan goes back to Canada for the Thomian dance.
And, in October, he will be seen in London, again, for the Trinity College dance.
During the month of December, Sohan says he will be in Australia, ending up doing the 31st night scene, in Melbourne, at the Springvale Convention Centre, with Corrine and Clifford Richards at one of the biggest New Year Dances in Australia, organised by master showman Berti Ekenaike.
However, in spite of all the exciting happenings Sohan is experiencing, while still overseas, he says he misses his granddaughter, Sienna, very much and is eagerly looking forward to getting back home…to surprise her!
