People’s Bank’s Union Place branch presents ‘Geethanjali Vesak Bathi Gee Saraniya’
People’s Bank’s Union Place branch presented ‘Geethanjali Vesak Bathi Gee Saraniya’, on Vesak Poya Day. The Union Place branch which is located in the Gangaramaya Vesak Zone hosted the bathi gee recital and the event was organized by the Colombo South Region of the People’s Bank.
Eranthi Munasinghe of the Ethugalpura Branch of People’s Bank penned the lyrics for some of the songs, whilst music composition and song coaching for the recital was undertaken by Ravnidra Saparamadu, Music Teacher of Yasodhara Vidyalaya, Colombo and Lal Rupasinghe, Music Teacher at the Defence Services College, Colombo 02. In addition, the branch was adorned with Vesak lanterns and the passersby were treated to a coffee and biscuit Dansala.
