Pathfinder Indian Ocean Security Conference Report presented to Indian External Affairs Minister

Milinda Moragoda, Founder of the Pathfinder Foundation, presented the report of the Pathfinder Indian Ocean Security Conference – 2020 (PFIOSC – 2020) to the Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar during his recent visit to Sri Lanka.

The PFIOSC-2020, which was conducted in a virtual format due to the prevailing COVID 19 pandemic, was held from November 10 -12 in Colombo, was attended by participants from over 35 littoral and hinterland countries of the Indian Ocean, major maritime powers etc.

The international conference, which studied the security and governance status of the Indian Ocean, was co-chaired by former Indian Ambassador, foreign secretary and National Security Advisor, Shivshankar Menon and Pathfinder Foundation Chairman, Bernard Goonetilleke.
