Pastoral Literature Translation workshop cum conference in Bangkok

The Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conference of Social Communication has organized Pastoral Literature Translation workshop cum conference at Cammilian Pastoral Center in Bangkok, Thailand from June 4th to 9th 2024. It was officially announced 47 participants from 16 major languages of Asia attending the conference. Three renowned representatives from Sri -Lanka were selected by the National Bishops‘ Conference headed by Rt. Rev.Dr. Harold Anthony Perera President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference and Bishop of Kurunegala. Rev.Fr. Piyal Janaka Fernando Vicar General of Kurunegala diocese. Rev. Fr. Ananda Weerakoon Director Media and communication Kurunegala diocese and Godfrey Cooray Senior Attorney-at-Law, President of National Catholic Writers’ Association and Former ambassador to Norway, Finland and Iceland are attending the Conference.
