Parliament adjourned till next week owing to fuel crisis

The Committee on Parliamentary Business yesterday decided to limit this week’s sitting of the House only for two days in view of the prevailing fuel crisis.

 The committee met Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene and decided to change the previously agreed plan to sit for four days this week and, instead, adjourn the House this evening to the next sitting week due to the prevailing fuel shortage.
