Paralympic medallists felicitated

Dinesh Priyantha Herath and Dulan Kodithuwakku who won gold and bronze medals respectively at the Tokyo Paralympics were felicitated by the Ministry of Sports on Monday. They were rewarded with handsome cash awards by Sports Minister Namal Rakapaksa for their historic feats. Herath won country’s first ever gold medal at Paralympics when he threw the javelin to a world record distance of 67.79 meters in the F46 javelin event.
