Outgoing Japanese Defence Attaché calls on Navy Commander

The outgoing Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka, Captain Gaku Fukaura called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Navy Headquarters Thursday (07).

During their meeting, they exchanged views on several matters of mutual interests. The Vice Admiral expressed his gratitude to Captain Fukaura for the support Japan extended during his tenure and extended best wishes for his future endeavours.

Further, Commander of the Navy warmly welcomed the incoming Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka, Captain Yuki Yokohari who also joined this occasion.The cordial discussion between two parties came to an end with an exchange of mementoes as symbols of goodwill and understanding.
