Outdoor activities in schools banned till 01 March owing to scorching heat

The Education Ministry issued a directive yesterday (28) instructing all schools to prevent students from engaging in strenuous outdoor activities until Friday (March 01) due to the anticipated further increase in temperature.

The ban applies to sports meets, sports practices, and other pre-planned outdoor activities.

Provincial and zonal education authorities have been directed to inform school principals of these guidelines.
