Oneli, Dinara, Ruvi, Nesangi reach Under 16 girls’ singles semis

Dinara de Silva, Ruvi Lewkebandara, Nesangi Hemakumara and Oneli Samarawickrama reached the semi-finals of the Under 16 girls’ singles as they won their respective quarter-finals of the Tennis Nationals 2022 played at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts over the weekend.

Dinara de Silva, the top seed will now meet Ruvi Lewkebandara for a place in the final.

In the other semi-final Nesangi Hemakumara will encounter Oneli Samarawickrama.

Under 16 Girls’ Singles Quarter-Final results

Dinara de Silva beat Arushi Thomas 6-1, 6-3

Ruvi Lewkebandara beat Senulya Wijayawardane 6-3, 6-0

Nesangi Hemakumara beat Anitra Dharmaratne 3-6, 7-6 (3), 10-7

Oneli Samarawickrama beat Nelini Jayasuriya 7-5, 2-6, 10-5
