One killed, four injured in clash

One person was killed and four others were injured in a clash between two groups at Pethiagoda, in Peliyagoda, on Saturday night (07).Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said two people, injured in the attack, had been admitted to the National Hospital, Colombo and the others admitted to the Ragama Teaching Hospital. One person admitted to the the National Hospital succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased was a 42-year-old resident of Pethiagoda, Kelaniya. He had been attacked with sharp weapons and clubs.SSP Thalduwa said the incident was due to a personal dispute. The Peliyagoda Police are conducting further investigations.
