Ocean Lanka meet Maliban in the men’s final

Mercantile Volleyball Championship -2022

Ocean Lanka will meet Maliban in the Pro-category finals of the Mercantile Volleyball Championships at the Indoor Stadium of the National Youth Services Center, Maharagama on Sunday (13). The Pro-category finals will commence with the Women’s final match between Casualline Mawathagama and Hirdaramani teams at 1.00pm. It will be followed by the men’s final.

Ocean Lanka captained by Buddika Sampath beat Omegaline to secure the final place. Maliban reached the final after beating Unichela, Panadura in the semi-finals. They are skippered by Malaka Jeewantha.

According to the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation arrangements have been made to live telecast matches in the ‘Pro’ category on Channel Eye from 1.00 pm onwards.The novices finals of the women’s tournament will be played between Omegaline ‘A’ and Maliban who reached the finals defeating Hirdaramani and Omegaline ‘B’ respectively.

The novices final of the men’s tournament will be played between Best Pacific Textile Pvt Ltd and Slimline Pannala, who beat CDB and Linea Aqua respectively in the semi-finals. Novices category finals will commence at 8.00 am at the same venue.
