NSBM Green University inaugurates March 2024 intake of undergraduate programmes
NSBM Green University, successfully concluded the inauguration ceremony to officially welcome the newly enrolled batch for the March 2024 Intake of its Undergraduate Degree Programmes. The ceremony held last week at the NSBM premises brought together a distinguished gathering of NSBM staff headed by Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, esteemed guests, parents, and students.
The ceremony unfolded under three sessions and provided an immersive experience for all the participants, featuring keynote speeches, presentations and sessions intended to enlighten the new entrants on the basic procedures, operations and other important matters related to their academic journey at NSBM Green University.
Each session of the ceremony featured a distinguished chief guest. High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha; Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Wasantha Perera; and President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry of Sri Lanka, Keerthi Gunawardane, graced the occasion as chief guests and delivered inspiring keynote speeches that brought a unique perspective and instilled motivation in the hearts and minds of the new entrants.
Over 60 undergraduate degree programmes were on offer for this intake, encompassing UGC-approved degrees offered by NSBM and the degrees offered through its esteemed partnerships with Victoria University, Australia and University of Plymouth, UK. Facilitated by a highly qualified lecture panel, the degree programs at NSBM Green University span a broad spectrum of disciplines and are meticulously crafted to meet the dynamic demands of evolving industries. Providing a unique and international-level learning experience, the university equips its students with the holistic knowledge and skills to excel in their chosen fields.
