Northern Premier League gaining momentum

Northern Province Cricket Association (NPCA) is organizing a competitive cricket series to promote the game of cricket in north with the patronage and sponsorship of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). Jaffna, Vavuniya, Mannar, Mullaitivu and Killinochchi districts are taking part in the tournament.

Vavuniya Vikings, Jaffna Gladiators, Mullai Panthers, Killinochchi Fighters and Mannar Kings are the names of the teams.

The series that got underway last week at the Vavuniya Municipal Grounds will conclude next month.

On behalf of the NPCA, President Yogendran Rathiban is inviting fans to come over to witness these games.

The games will be broadcast live through social media.
