North-South Bridge-Builder

When spirited PC Krishnamurthi,

Plunged into that swirling deep,

In hot pursuit of a miscreant,

He was not bitterly weighed-down,

By the infamous historical luggage,

Which trips many of his compatriots,

For, he cared not for any identity badges,

Which have opened a North-South rift,

But sought to tell the feuding halves,

That selfless service for one’s fellow men,

Lays the basis for enduring peace.
