NJ Exports recognized as Best Jewellery Exporter at Presidential Export Awards
NJ Exports was recently recognized with the coveted Presidential Export Award in the Jewellery Sector for the years 2019/20 and 2020/21 at the Presidential Export Awards organized by the Export Development Board (EDB). The ceremony was held under the patronage of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa at BMICH, Colombo. Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery and NJ Exports have been trusted names locally and globally for over four decades through their commitment to quality and customer service. Previously, NJ Exports was recognized as the Best Jewellery Exporter for the years 2014 and 2015 by the EDB.
Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery, a pioneer in the gem and jewellery trade in Sri Lanka also has been recognized previously with six Presidential Awards (for Best Gold Jewellery Manufacturer, Best Jewellery Exporter, Best Diamond Jewellery Exporter, Best Foreign Exchange Earner, Best Gold Jewellery Technician, and Best Fashion Jewellery Technician) at the Silver Jubilee Presidential Awards organized by the National Gem and Jewellery Authority of Sri Lanka.
Nithyakalyani possesses an in-house factory where they manufacture platinum, gold, white gold, diamond and gemstone jewellery under the supervision of experienced, well-trained (local and overseas) craftsmen. The technical advancement exemplified by approaches such as CAD, 3D printing to create life-like objects out of customer imagination has led to exports to many countries including Australia, UK, Canada, Switzerland, the UAE and the USA.
