New NGO Bill under discussion

The government intends to present a Bill in Parliament seeking to regulate NGOs. Public Security Minister Tiran Alles yesterday (22) said that his Ministry was having talks with NGOs to reach a consensus on the proposed laws as previous government proposals weren’t acceptable to them. Addressing the media at the Ministry, Alles said the NGO Secretariat, which was under his Ministry, was handling the matter.
