New Dean of SEUSL Engineering Faculty

Prof. M. A. L. A. Haleem, a senior lecturer in Engineering, has been appointed as the Dean of the faculty of Engineering of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka.

He graduated from the University of Peradeniya and served there as a lecturer, in Engineering, till 1993, and then left for Hong Kong, and received his Master’s Degree from there. He obtained his PhD from the New Jersey Stevens Institute of Technology. His area of research interest is mobile wireless technology.

He served at New Jersey Bell, as a researcher, for some time. He also served as an Associate Professor of Engineering, at King Fahd University and University of Hawaii.

He is a past student of Kalmunai Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya and Ampara D.S. Senanayake Central College.
