New CB Governor and Treasury Secretary appointed

Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe and K. M. Mahinda Siriwardena received their appointment letters from President Gotabaya Rajapaksa as the Governor of the Central Bank and Secretary to the Ministry of Finance respectively, on Thursday at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo the same day.

Secretary to the President, Gamini Senarath was also present on the occasion. (L-R) Dr. Weerasinghe and Siriwardena with the President.
