Nestlé Nestomalt ready to power the 47th National Sports Festival

Marathon and other road events over the weekend

The Ministry of Youth and Sports and Nestlé Nestomalt have joined hands yet again, to power the progress of Sri Lanka’s talented athletes at the 47th National Sports Festival. The marathon, race walking and the cycling events of the National Sports Festival will be held on October 8 and 9 in Gampaha. This much awaited event will offer over 800 athletes from around the country a platform to showcase their talents and an opportunity for winners to be considered for the national pool.

Sharing his thoughts on Nestlé Nestomalt’s long-standing support to the marathon sport in Sri Lanka, Ruwan Welikala, Nestlé Lanka’s Vice President – Dairy said, “It has been a pleasure to witness past winners of the National Marathon going on to represent Sri Lanka and excel at international events.
