Neil Diamond duplicate in town soon

In the good old days (or, perhaps, even now), he was known as ‘Mr. Neil Diamond’, and that’s because Joey Lewis did exactly what Neil Diamond did.

His singing style, and voice, was, literally, a carbon copy of the legendary American singer/songwriter.

Joey’s repertoire was made up, mainly of the hit songs of Neil Diamond, and he was famous for the chart-topper ‘Cracklin’ Rose.’

Joey now resides in London and says he should be in Colombo, within the next 10 days.

He is not here for any special concerts but, who knows, he may surprise local music lovers with a guest spot!

The Neil Diamond duplicate has plans to visit the Peacock, at the Berjaya Hotel, Mount Lavinia, on December 02, on the opening night of the new-look Mirage outfit…so we need to keep our fingers crossed!

Quite a few artistes have indicated that they would be at the Peacock, on Friday, December 2nd, including Rajiv Sebastian.

And, that means it’s going to be a jam-packed night of great music, and fun and excitement.
