Nearly 4,000 Sri Lankans to perform Hajj this year

M.H. Sheikhudeen Madani, Director, Al Hikma Foundation, said that 3,750 pilgrims from Sri Lanka will embark on the journey to Makkah to perform Hajj this year. Madani said that Saudi Arabian Ambassador here Khalid Hamood Al Qahtani, in collaboration with the Department of Muslim Community Affairs, has made all necessary arrangements in this regard. The first group of Hajj pilgrims from Sri Lanka is scheduled to depart for Makkah on June 03.
