Navy takes hold of Kerala cannabis with gross street value of over Rs. 30 Mn in Mannar

The Sri Lanka Navy recovered over 92kg of Kerala cannabis, during a search operation conducted in Iluppukadawai lagoon area, Mannar on Friday (30th June 2023).

The gross street value of seized Kerala cannabis is believed to be around RS. 30 million. The consignment of narcotic drugs has been kept in the custody of the Navy, until it is handed over to authorities for onward legal action
