Navy Canoe and Kayak team get ready for Indo-Sri Lanka Annual Canoeing Sprint 2024

The Navy Canoe and Kayak team conducted a Kayak training session at Talaimannar sea on Saturday (23) in preparation for the inaugural  Indo-Sri Lanka Annual Canoeing Sprint 2024, to be held on 10th and 11th April 2024 from Talaimannar to Dhanushkodi, India.

Indo-Sri Lanka Annual Canoeing Sprint 2024 is  co-hosted by the National Association of Canoeing and Kayak Sri Lanka (NACKSL) and Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association (IKCA),

The training session served to familiarize the Navy Kayak team with the sea’s conditions and wind speeds up to Sand Dune VII, beyond Talaimannar, one of the tournament’s venues. This preparation was essential to acclimatize the team to the environmental challenges they will face during the tournament.
