The Sri Lanka Navy apprehended a suspect with 1947kg of smuggled Kendu leaves, during a special operation conducted in Karative beach area in Puttalam this morning (02nd July 2023).
The suspect along with Kendu leaves was handed over to the Kalpitiya Police for onward legal action.
