Navy apprehends 02 suspects with smuggled insecticides in Kalpitiya

The Navy apprehended two (02) suspects with a stock of smuggled insecticides, during a search operation conducted in the sea areas of Karaitivu and Palliyawatta in Kalpitiya on Sunday (29th October 2023).

Fifteen (15) sacks containing insecticides were detected in the sea area of Karaitivu while seven sacks were recovered from the sea area of Palliyawatta.
