Navaliya sponsors Ru Kirula pageant for fifth consecutive year

Rupavhini Ru kirula 2022 pageant sponsored for the fifth consecutive year in the print media by the Navaliya weekly was held at the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation premises in Colombo recently.

Ayesha Nethimini from the Colombo District won the Lever AYUSH crown while Upuni Nimesha from the Kurunegala District and Devindi Nayanamini from the Anuradhapura District won the first and second runners up places respectively.

Winners were awarded cash prizes, while Sevwandi Gunaratne, from the Kandy District, was crowned Navaliya Most Popular Princess of the contest from the results of a poll conducted by the Navaliya paper for six weeks. Achala Karunaratne and Chaminda Gunaratne compered the show directed by Pathum Sasanka, SLRC Executive Director.
