Nations Trust Bank’s employees have come together to donate essential medical equipment towards the national COVID response, by donating a half a day’s salary in August 2021. The voluntary donation from the Nations Team was handed over to the Bio Medical Engineering Unit at the Ministry of Health on the 29th of October 2021 with the participation of Priyantha Talwatte, Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nations Trust Bank and other bank officials.

In true spirit of supporting the national effort, Nations Trust Bank employees contributed their donations to purchase accessories for Multipara Monitors used to monitor critical patients in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Treatment Units. Commenting on the employees’ donation was Ramanika Unamboowe, Executive Vice President – Human Resources at Nations Trust Bank, “As a responsible corporate citizen, Nations Trust Bank is extremely appreciative of the Nations Team for supporting the health sector through this virtuous cause. I would also like to thank the Human Resource and Corporate Social Responsibility teams for facilitating the necessary processes to make this donation a success.
