Multichemi International wins National Award for Industrial Excellence

Multichemi International Ltd, a pioneer in environment-friendly, biodegradable detergents under the flagship brand name ‘dash’, was the recipient of a National Merit Award in Extra Large Manufacturing Sector at the CNCI Achiever Awards 2022 for Industrial Excellence, organized by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries.

Established in 1993, Multichemi International Ltd is one of the largest detergent manufacturers in Sri Lanka. Located within the Kindelpitiya Industrial Zone in Millewa Horana, Multichemi produces international standard user-friendly detergents under the brand names ‘dash’, ‘Safematic’, ‘Gliz’, ‘Comox’, ‘Safeol’, ‘SpringTime’ and ‘Magic Soft’, and are committed to enhancing customer satisfaction by offering quality products through continual improvements in quality systems and performance.

Gayani Jayarathne, General Manager, Multichemi International Ltd said that the company hopes to launch a “Plant Based Fabric Conditioner” under the brand name “Magic Soft” and re-launch the “Gliz” Dish Wash Liquid range in the first quarter of FY 2023/24 to further improve customer satisfaction in the respective product categories.
